The I-2000 Retail software was developed to meet all the needs of the sales sector and designed to be as flexible as possible. It easily adapts to the diverse demands of the various types of sales outlet: from the small shop with a single cash desk right up to the big department stores with multiple cash points.

Initially designed for the clothing sector, with all its special needs, such as managing stocks of different sizes, it was further developed to be extended to other sectors and to be personalised to meet more specific needs.
Thanks to Microsoft .NET technology, used in its development, the software not only has all the basic requirements such as stability and functionality, but it has an elegant graphics interface quite unlike the standard Windows format. With the help of a graphics studio, all the different forms have been designed to be produced simply and intuitively, even in the hands of the least expert operator. Particular emphasis has been given to the use of colour and contrast that are easy on the eye, something we maintain is of primary importance.

The database used is Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and we are already working on being able to operate with other databases such as MySQL and Oracle.

The transfer of data between the various SQL servers is accomplished with Stored Procedures, specially designed to guarantee the integrity and precision of the data. It is also possible to export and import data using ASCII files in emergency situations. When data is transferred using remote servers, we recommend this is encrypted, using VPN or IpSeq, etc.

It is expected that it will be possible for all users to import data from other applications such as company management systems, but these will have to be analysed on a case by case basis, according to the data to be imported.
